Artist
Lavina is twenty-five, a graduate of the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines, major in Humanities - a heavy integration of philosophy, history, art and literature.
Exhibiting a penchant for the arts from the day she could hold a pen, she has established herself as a self-taught artist with an acute fondness for the expressive style of 19th century children's book illustrators, the likes of Arthur Rackham and Warwick Goble. As a result, her style has evolved into a unique and versatile form of magical realism. Her primary mediums are ink and watercolor, though she occasionally dabbles in pencil and acrylic.
While Lavina believes her art requires much improvement, it is her lifelong dream to one day host a solo exhibit, and this blog is her means of documenting her journey of perfecting her art, toward achieving this dream.
